We aren't your father's Chamber of Commerce. We strive to provide added value to our members and their businesses through innovation and a 'can do attitude'. Nothing is impossible if we work together.

New Programs:
One of our favorite new programs this year is 5 Minute Networking. Our members love it. The program lets you make quality two minute introductions and move on to meet someone else. It's like speed dating on steroids. It's fast, fun and best of all members are connecting and business is happening.
Business Leaders's Excursion to China:
Have you ever wanted to meet your business counterparts in the fast growing economy in the world?
Here is your chance.
The Chamber is heading to China in November 2007 and March 2008. You can sign up on line or call us for more details.
We have instituted a new series of networking seminars:
'Is Your Networking?' to help members learn the skills and confidence to work a room and not get stuck in a corner. Trey McCallister from the Referral Institute keeps it lively and fun. The series has been so popular that we will be running it again in the Fall.
In January, along with the City of San Ramon and the Contra Costa Workforce Development Board, the Chamber co-sponsored the 'Take Your Business to the Next Level' seminar. It was so well received that we followed it up with 'The Entrepreneurial Expo' in March and are working on a third seminar to be held in the Fall. The purpose of the seminars is to help medium to small businesses explore the many financing and marketing options available to them.
Finally, we have started a series of 4 Women's Networking Lunches for 2007. The goal is to provide our professional women an opportunity to network and hear speakers that are of particular interest to them. Even though we are calling it a Women's Networking Lunch, men are also welcome to participate.
New Website
Our wonderful new website has been launched. We are in phase 2 right now with Phase 3, the ecommerce piece hopefully being launched by the end of the year. Watch for some exciting developments as we go forward.

New Logo
Our new logo brings a new contemporary branding to the Chamber.
New Newsletter
Our new SRV BizLink Newsletter will be produced bi-monthly with professional articles and items of interest to the community. We will provide information on legislative happenings, Green- issues, businesses within our community as well as Chamber Events. It is mailed to all the Chamber members as well as approximately 4,000 business license holders in San Ramon.
New Partnerships
In order to better serve our community, the Chamber is working on forging new partnerships as well as strengthening existing ones with the City of San Ramon, other local Chambers, the Education Community as well as other Non-profit groups within the Valley. We are all in this together to make this the best community in which to live and work.
New Attitude
Just because we haven't done it before, doesn't mean it can't be done. We are open to new ideas and ways of doing things. We're listening and doing!
